Another cute MMORPG on the market from Aeria games. Grand Fantasia is a 3D Anime themed MMORPG. I'm definitely taking a liking to this game. I have been playing for five days. I just can't keep away from the cuteness! I'm still new to things and I'm still learning.
What makes this game so unique is the Sprite system. Sprites are kind of like pets that pick up your loot, fight alongside you, but they also are able to make things for you like armor, weapons. They are able to evolve as soon as you are level 20 and their skills are maxed out as well.
There is also a lover system. I actually don't care for this part, but for those who do, they got it. Just beware of creepers and jerks out there (there are always some in every game)!
What I like about the game is that there are plenty of quests to do when you start out. There are many cities with plenty of quests to keep you occupied for awhile. I also like the music played. The music reminds me of a mix of Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy. My all time favorite game is Chrono Trigger! And like I said before, the cute graphics! I like that they are not chibi looking or have a childish face. It is borderline of looking realistic, but is still anime.
The problem for me (not the game itself) is the lag I have to deal with and occasional freezing of the game. Sometimes I have to wait a couple of minutes for the map to load. I play on a laptop that's not really meant for games. I'm pretty sure I just need more memory and a better graphics card. It gets frustrating, but I think once my problem is fixed, I'll be able to play smoothly.
