Live Audience Experience: Conan Show

On Monday, May 16th, my boyfriend and I go to experience being part of a live audience for the Conan show. Team Coco! This taping was actually show on Wednesday, May 18th.

This was my boyfriend's first time to see a live taping and for me it was my second time. My first experience was for an ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew) taping. My boyfriend likes watching the Conan show, so this was more exciting for him than it was for me. :]

We got our Conan tickets and wrist bands!

Going down the elevator to wait to enter the lot. I finally succeeded in taking a mirrored ceiling photo. :)

If I were to compare these two experience, I would say my second experience was much better than my first. Why? We didn't wait very long, we had the option of coming back before the line up started once we had already checked in, they had water while waiting, they had benches to sit, and cellphones were allowed inside (they just had to be off). It was definitely a better experience. :]

We went on the Warner Brothers Studios lot in Burbank, CA. It was fun to see a few sets lying around and walking on a huge lot with huge buildings where TV shows are filmed.

Inside the set, it was nicely air conditioned and the audience seats were very comfy, like theater seats. On TV, the set looks much bigger, but in reality, it's small.

The best part was seeing the celebrities and of course, Conan O'Brien!

But before the actual show started, Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band performed some sweet, jazzy tunes. I loved it! I wouldn't seeing them perform. If only their shows weren't in LA.

Conan's first guest was Bradley Cooper from the movie Hang Over! He is mighty fine. *o* Here's a video of Bradley Cooper from the show.

Conan's next guest was Chris O'Dowd and comedian, Ryan Hamilton.

You can watch the full episode on the Team Coco's website: http://video.teamcoco.com/video/conan.jsp?oid=251768&eref=sharethisUrl

The show only lasted an hour. I wanted to see more! I guess being part of the taping makes time go by faster than watching it on TV.

Leaving the Warner Bros. Studio, Gate 8. See you next time!
