Last week, I ordered my very first micro four thirds digital camera, the Olympus Pen E-PL2! I'm so excited for it to come in. I purchased it off of Amazon.com for only $559.99! I decided to get the kit. It comes with the Olympus Pen E-PL2 camera, the 14-42 II mm lens, an 8GB SDHC memory card, a memory card storage wallet, an SDHC memory card reader, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and a camera case. I thought it was best to purchase the kit rather than the camera itself because it was cheaper to get all the accessories, with only a $10 difference. Plus, there was no tax and shipping was free!
Everyday, I check the tracking of my package on Amazon to see if it has arrived. It was shipped from New York and the estimated delivery date is May 26 - June 1st...just 3 more days. :D
I just can't wait to try it out and actually learn about the other functions of the camera, and of course, take plenty of wonderful pictures. >.< My best friends all have nice cameras that take beautiful pictures. Now I won't be left out, hehe. They're all great photographers :3
I've been looking for a nice carrying case, just like in this video:
Anyone recognized the woman in the video? She was in the Japanese movie, Nana! ♥ that movie and her outfit!
I really like the brown, leather vintage style. I think it goes great with either color of the E-PL2 camera.
I was searching around forums and someone had said that the actual camera case is expensive! I've managed to find one that's similar, and affordable. A company called, http://www.kaza-deluxe.com/ makes hand-made leather camera cases. I was thinking of getting the full case, which costs $59. I've seen other leather cases that costs about $100, so I would say this is a more affordable price. I'll need to save up for this. D:
The case that I'm looking to get is the brown color.

I can't wait to share my photos with you all.
I'm curious, does anyone own the E-PL2 camera? What are your experiences with it? Feel free to share. :]Labels: Miscellaneous
