Fashion Friday - Stella & Dot - Pavé Chevron Ring

I recently found out about Stella & Dot though a friend's trunk show that was hosted at her house and her cousin was the Stella & Dot stylist, Monica Nicole. If you want to get styled by her, visit her website: www.stelladot.com/sites/monicanicole

What's my experience with trunk shows? None. I had no clue what they were and my friend had to explain it me. Sounds silly, but now I know. What I liked was the trunk show was hosted at a place I knew, with friends I knew and I felt comfortable checking out the goods without feeling pressured to buy them. The plus side of the trunk show was being able to try on the jewelry!
I looked through the brochure and at the trunk show items and the Pavé Chevron Ring caught my eye. I like dainty accessories and this for sure was one of them. I couldn't pass it up.

I stayed at the trunk show for awhile debating if I should get it. The impulse buyer in me screamed, "Yes! Buy it now!" but I wanted to think about it. A friend of mine once told me, if it's something you want and keep thinking about after sometime, that means you want it. Well, I think that was an appropriate time!

A few days passed since placing my order—5 to be exact—and my order arrived on my porch. It came in a padded bubble mailer and I got excited and opened it right away. The packaging was cute and the ring was even cuter! I already knew how it would look since I tried it on at the trunk show, but the ring is even better because it no was mine.

I ordered the ring in gold and size small. This ring is adjustable which works for my scrawny fingers. It goes great with a casual outfit or formal outfit. On a side note, I've also washed my hands with the ring on and the color and jewels are still intact.

Stella & Dot
Surfing Stella & Dot's website can be lot of trouble for my wallet, but every now and then, I think it's alright to splurge!

Right now, I'm eyeing their Eden Ring! It's on sale for $14.50, but I'm bummed they don't carry my ring size. :(

What Stella & Dot accessory have you checked out lately and is lingering in your mind?
